Bird Proofing
Bird proofing means to implement measures to prevent birds from entering or nesting in commercial buildings or areas. This proofing helps to avoid damage potentially caused by birds to buildings or equipment and prevent health hazards. It also helps to keep a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.
Bird Netting Installation
The most common preventative measure we use is netting. In industrial settings, this involves installing netting over open areas, such as loading areas or warehouses. These are the areas where birds are likely to enter or nest. We can also cater for commercial areas, properties and high streets. Bird netting is typically made from durable materials such as polyethylene or nylon. These materials are resistant to weather elements and UV rays.
We install netting by using tensioned cables attached to poles or brackets, creating a secure barrier that birds cannot penetrate. Our netting can also be installed at a slight angle to make it unattractive for birds to perch on. We use netting as it is a humane option that’s unharmful and only prevents birds from entering a given area. Bird netting can provide a long-lasting, cost-effective bird control solution compared to ongoing maintenance or repair costs.
Solar Panel Pigeon Proofing
As well as commercial and industrial bird proofing, we also offer a solar panel pigeon proofing service for homes or commercial buildings that use solar power panels. Birds, especially pigeons, like to nest under solar panels because they provide a high and safe shelter, protecting them from the elements and predators. Pigeons like to use these area for nesting and raising their young.
We use bird mesh wiring or netting to proof solar panels as it is a humane method that is unharmful to birds and will only repel and move them on.
Bird Guano Clearance
Additionally, if your roof or solar panels have received a lot of mess from birds we can clean up the mess before installing any netting or mesh. Cleaning the area first is highly recommended to remove health hazards before setting up preventative measures.
